One Week Stand is a satisfying and romantic novella that will have you engrossed throughout its entirety. The chemistry, dialogue, and interactions between Jasmine and Evan are all genuine and smoothly penned. From the start, even with their surprise beginning, there is no awkwardness between these two. It truly makes for a romantic read because they seem to click so very well together. I was impressed with how well Ms. James built an entire relationship into one short week. There were conflicts, sexy moments, intimacy, laughter, and just fun. Evan and Jasmine are a great pair. This is one story I can recommend wholeheartedly for the romance fan who wants a quick read but needs emotion and connection to be part of the equation. One Week Stand has all that and more.

The two characters complement each other well though, providing strength where needed and their relationship develops after a lot of mind-blowing sex and thrilling action. The combustible passion between them will send the blood pumping through your veins. It is a very fast read where in one minute, the couple is enveloped in a never ending intimate moment, and in the next, they are running for their lives!! The author keeps the book moving quickly and never gives the reader breathing space amongst all of the action to stop and look around. Ms. James has succeeded in making sparks fly even as danger threatens.
