I know what you mean, though I'm not back at work. I haven't left. LOL. It's hard to get anything done when you spend 8 hours a day at work. No, it isn't 8 hours, it's more. 1 hour to get ready, 1 hour at lunch (wasted for me b/c I can't get any writing done) a few minutes here and there to commut (hours for others). That's over 12 hours a day spending time doing something related to work. Yuck!
I wanted to get some revisions done this morning, but couldn't get to them because now I have to get ready for work. And I'm running late!

Yes, it is very hard working, being a mom, a writer and all the other things at once. Just take a deep breath and do what you can.

Life is so busy now. We certainly need more time to just relax unfortunately that's not reality.

I will be in your same shoes in a couple of weeks. I will be going back to work after having spend the last several months with my newborn.

It's hard to go back to work after a vacation but there's always the next vacation to look forward to. Great interview.

Good thing I gave you a weekend day to blog :) I HATE it when employers block various parts of the internet. It's ridiculous!

I guess I really understand it because I am in a school and there are some things that kids just shouldn't have access to, but it still drives me nuts.
