It Was Boooorrriiinnnng |
Oh well, I was disappointed today. It was boring beyond belief. We were in a huge auditorium with a man using an overhead projector and transparencies. FOR SIX HOURS! I was like someone please....get me OUT of here. Thank goodness I was sitting in the back because if he would*ve been able to see the expression on my face, he would know exactly how bored I was. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. No writing done today either. I feel like such a slacker, but I*m sooo tired when I get home all I want to do is take a nap. Three months at home with no schedule has really ruined me for this school year. I enjoyed being able to get up when I wanted, sleep when I wanted, stay up to all hours if I wanted. Now I have to go to bed at a decent hour so I can drag my butt out of bed at 6 o*clock in the morning.I got my first round of edits back on One Day At A Time. Not sure on a release date yet, hopefully November. Hopefully I can dig back in to my writing on Saturday.Wish me no boredom tomorrow. :-)Smooches, Lyric |

I knew some people who sleep with their eyes open, maybe you can try to practice that during the presentations, lol.

That's one thing about a teacher's job that a love...3 months off (during the warm months).

Too bad you can't bring a laptop (if you have one) and write your book during that time.

Hopefully, the rest of the week gets better for you.

Good luck with the edits. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Oh goodness, Amanda...I feel for you. Your day is so much more longer than mine.
Lisa, if I could sleep with my eyes open the world would be in a whole lot of trouble. LOL
Shuck, I think the click click of my laptop would be a dead give away that I'm not quite paying attention. LOL
Thanks Jenny and Deborah. Hopefully I can survive Thursday's round of meetings.
Cherie I can't wait for next week and the routine to begin. I'm dying to dig back into my libdrary and shelve/read all the books I ordered last year before I went on maternity leave.
